Masala Vada
Ingredients for Cooking
Moong dal 1/2 cup
Urad dal 1/2 cup
Chana dal 1 cup
Green chillies 10 nos.
Onion small 1 no.
Pudina 1/2 bunch
Corriander 1/2 bunch
Curry leaves 1 stem
Ginger 1/2 inch
Oil to deep fry
Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak all the pulses overnight and grind coarsely along with greechillies, ginger and salt.
- Add finely chopped corriander, onion, pudina and curry leaves to the above mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Make small flat rolls of the mixture and deep fry.
- Hot masala vada can be served with tamarind chutney.
