Mutton Biryani

Ingredients for Cooking

Rice - 2 cups2
Mutton -1/2kg
Ghee -2 table spoons
oil -2 table spoons
Garlic and Ginger paste -2 table spoons
Chili powder -2 table spoons or according to the taste
Dhania powder -1/2 table spoon
Onion -1 big
Tomato -2
Coriander -4 stems
Mint -2 stems
Lemon juice -few drops
Coconut paste -1 spoon
Cloves 2 + Elachi 2 + Cinnamon 2 -(powdered spices)

Method

  1. Keep the pressure cooker on the stove.
  2. Put oil and ghee.Add chopped onion and garlic+ginger paste to it.
  3. When it gets fried well, add tomato and fry it in slim flame.
  4. Add chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and coconut paste.
  5. Then add mutton. Add water to it.
  6. For 2 cups of rice add 1and1/2 cup water.
  7. When mutton is cooked add rice, coriander, mint, powdered spices and lemon juice to it.
  8. When rice is cooked, turn off the stove.
  9. Serve the biriyani with curd raita.
  10. For raita add chopped onion+chilli+coriander+mint+salt+few drops of lemon juice with curd.
