Mutton Biryani
Ingredients for Cooking
Rice - 2 cups2
Mutton -1/2kg
Ghee -2 table spoons
oil -2 table spoons
Garlic and Ginger paste -2 table spoons
Chili powder -2 table spoons or according to the taste
Dhania powder -1/2 table spoon
Onion -1 big
Tomato -2
Coriander -4 stems
Mint -2 stems
Lemon juice -few drops
Coconut paste -1 spoon
Cloves 2 + Elachi 2 + Cinnamon 2 -(powdered spices)
Method
- Keep the pressure cooker on the stove.
- Put oil and ghee.Add chopped onion and garlic+ginger paste to it.
- When it gets fried well, add tomato and fry it in slim flame.
- Add chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and coconut paste.
- Then add mutton. Add water to it.
- For 2 cups of rice add 1and1/2 cup water.
- When mutton is cooked add rice, coriander, mint, powdered spices and lemon juice to it.
- When rice is cooked, turn off the stove.
- Serve the biriyani with curd raita.
- For raita add chopped onion+chilli+coriander+mint+salt+few drops of lemon juice with curd.
