Sprouted Moong Cheese Sandwich
Note: All ingredient quantities are ap prox.
Ingredients
Bread slices
Sprouted green moong-1 cup
Ricotta cheese 7-8 ounces
Onion - 1 cut to small pieces
Garlic - 3-4 cloves cut to pieces
Ginger - 1 small piece grated
Green chilli - 2 cut small
Red chilli powder/turmeric powder to taste
Salt to taste
1 cup pasta sauce, shredded cheese and cilantro to season
- In a pan, saute onion, garlic, ginger and chilli
- Once browned, add chilli and turmeric powder
- Then add the sprouted moong/salt and close pan until cooked
- Turn off stove and add the ricotta cheese and mix well
- On a slice of bread spread the above mixture
- Top it with a little pasta sauce and shredded cheese
- Place it in a toaster oven/regular oven for a 2-3 min
