Salade de Riz
Note: All ingredient quantities are ap prox.
Ingredients
Cooked rice - 4 cups
Ham - 2 slices cut to 1/2 inch pieces
Sausages - 3 fried and cut into circles
Tomatoes - 1 big (cut to cubes)
Onions - I cut lengthwise
For the vinaigrette:
Olive oil - 3 tbsps
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Method for making the vinaigrette
- For every tablespoon of vinegar add 3 tbsps. of oil.
- Add the salt and pepper to the vinegar before adding the oil.
- Shake well until you obtain a thick sauce.
- Prepare the vinaigrette and pour it over the tomatoes and onions chopped and placed in a placed in a big bowl.
- Add the sausages cut into rounds and ham. Mix together with rice.
- Add chopped coriander leaves (optional) and serve.
