Moong and pomegranate Salad

Ingredients

Pomegranate (use the seedless variety) - 1 cup
Moong sprouts - 1 cup
Grated coconut - 1 cup
4 - 5 red chillies ,
A pinch of asofetida ,
Few curry leaves ,
1 tbsp Oil and
1/2 tsp mustard
Salt to taste
1 tsp lemon  juice

Method

  1. Mix pomengrate, moon sprouts and coconut well.
  2. Add salt and lemon juice . Mix well .
  3. Heat the oil add mustard , curry leaves , red chillies and asofetida .
  4. Season the mixture.
  5. Coriander leaves can be used for garnishing .
  6. Also finely chopped cucumber can be added to the above . 1 tsp of grated ginger can also be added .
  7. If you want to make it slightly spicy add 1-2 finely chopped green chillies .
