Hi, This is Varsha from New Mexico, USA, again. I hope you liked my previous recipe for Low calorie Palak snack, I am sending recipe for Tofu cutlets. I hope you will like this too.
2 cups grated Tofu
1/2 cup boiled and coarsely ground green peas
1 inch ginger(grated)
4-5 strands of green coriander (finely chopped)
2-3 green chillies( finely chopped)
2 Table spoon Maidav
salt to taste
2 Table spoon cracked wheat (optional)
Oil to shallow fry
Method
Mix and mash together tofu, ginger, green peas, coriander, green chillies, maida and salt.
Make approx 10 to 12 oval shaped balls and roll over cracked wheat (daliya). This adds to the crunch of cutlets.
In a non-stick pan shallow fry on both sides till golden brown.
Enjoy with mint chutney or use them in burgers or sandwiches.
