Paneer Cups

Makes 12

Ingredients

Puff Pastry sheets - 1
Paneer – 1 block
Salsa Sauce – 1 cup
Onions (medium) chopped - 1
Garlic (grated) – 3 pods
Salt -  to taste
Pepper – to taste

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 oF
  2. Grate Paneer and keep aside in a large bowl
  3. Heal oil in a pan. When hot, add chopped onions and grated garlic – stir till brown.
  4. Add Salsa sauce, salt, pepper and cook covered on low flame for 5 minutes
  5. Add this mixture to the grated paneer and mix well.
  6. Cut puff pastry sheets into squares - 2 inches by 2 inches
  7. Place a tablespoon of the paneer mixture in the middle of the puff pastry.
  8. Place the puff pastries in small foil muffin cups so it takes shape of cups. The edges could be left curly for better effect.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with chutney….!!
