Spicy Kidney Fry

Ingredients

Goat kidney’s - 500 gms
onion - 1 large
chili powder - 11/2 tsp
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder - 2 tsp
coconut milk - 1cup
tomato - 1 large
ginger-garlic paste - 2-3 tsp
green chili - 2-3 no
black pepper - 1 tsp(powder)
salt - to taste
oil - 4-5 tsp
lemon juice - 1 tsp
water - 3-4 cups
coriander - small bunch

Method

  1. First clean the kidney’s thoroughly with water .
  2. Drain the water and keep aside.
  3. Chop onion and tomato and keep aside.
  4. Know take a pressure pan and keep it in stove and put oil .
  5. When the oil gets heated put chopped onions and it till golden brown.
  6. When the onions are golden brown put ginger –garlic paste and fry 2-3 min.know add kidneys and fry it well .
  7. After frying the kidneys add chilipowder,turmeric,dhania powder,greenchili,tomato,salt and mix it properly.
  8. Know add coconut milk and mix thoroughly .
  9. After mixing it know add required water to cook kidney’s and pressure cook it till done(5-6 whistles)
  10. When the kidney’s are well cooked adjust the gravy according to your taste.To this add black pepper and lemon.
  11. Garnish with coriander.
  12. Serve hot rotis or rice.
