Mutton Biryani
Ingredients
Onion 1/4 kg
chillies 15
Tomatoes 1/2 kg
Ginger garlic paste 5 tsp
Coriander and mint leaves 2 bunches
oil or ghee 2 cups
clove 10, cinnamon 4 cardamon 4
Lime 1
curd 1 cup
Mutton 1 kg
Basmati rice 1 kg
Method:
- Wash meat and soak in curd.
- Cut onions fry it in the oil.
- Then add chillies and garam masala.
- After 5 minutes add ginger garlic paste.
- Then add cut tomatoes.
- Fry some time.
- Add the mutton, coriander and mint leaves.
- Add salt and cook for 10 minutes in the cooker or any vessel untill the mutton is cooked.
- Take a big vessel and add 1 cup ghee or oil and add rice and fry in ghee.
- After 2 minutes pour 3 cups of water and the cooked meat masala into it.
- Add little salt and lime juice.
- Cook for 10 - 15 min in low fire.
Serve hot with raitha or kurma.
