Gobi Paratha

Ingredients

4 cups Wheat flour
3-4 tbsp. oil
Water for mixing
Salt as per taste
2 Medium cups grated Cauliflower (Phool Gobi)
Green chillies 1 or 2 (finely chopped)
1/2 inch Ginger (finely chopped) (optional)
2 tsp. Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp. Oregano (Ajwain)
1 tbsp. Red chili powder
Oil for frying

Method :

  1. Mix wheat flour with little extra salt with oil & and water. Knead well. Make dough. Keep aside.
  2. Mix grated cauliflower with green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, ajwain, chili powder as a filling in paratha.
  3. Make medium size chapati balls, add the filling to it. Roll.
  4. In a Tawa put little oil, fry the paratha on both the sides till golden brown. Serve hot with curd, green chutney or ketchup.

Note : Do not add salt in the filling portion as it turns watery while rolling.

Makes 18-20 Parathas.
