Hi,
My name is Anand and I am a doctorate student in a US University. Cooking is my passion and I have been writing recipes in this site for sometime now under the nick "Mahalakshmi". This is one of the lunch quickies, interesting and delicious. Have fun cooking/eating!

Muttai Parotta

Ingredients

For Parotta
Wheat Bread 10 slices
OR
Frozen Naan 5 Pieces
Eggs 4 (whipped neat)
Besan flour 1 Spoon
Green Chillies 5 (finely chopped)
Onions 1 (big, cut into very small pieces)
Cilantro 1 small cup
Tomato 1 Big, cut into very small pieces
Chilli Powder 1 Spoon.
Oil 2 Spoon.
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, fry the onions and green chillies.
  2. Add to it the beaten egg and scramble it.
  3. Add some more oil and fry well the scrambled pieces of bread or naan.
  4. Add the chilli powder, salt and tomatoes and fry till all mix well.
  5. Garnish with cilantros.

Goes great with Hunt's tomato ketchup or Maggie hot sauce!

Making time: 15-30 min
Serves 3
Shelf life: Best when hot!
