Ingredients:5 soft seedless dried dates (or deseed them)
3 marie biscuits, crumbled
2 tbsp. sugar
2 drops almond or pistachio essence
300 ml. chilled whole milk
2 scoops vanilla icecream
1 tsp. soft brown sugar (for topping)
Method
- Soak dates for 20 minutes in 2 tbsp. milk.
- When very soft, run them, with soaked milk in mixie.
- Add biscuits, sugar, essence, half cup milk, run again.
- When smooth, add remaining milk, icecream.
- Run till smooth and frothy.
- Pour into tall glasses, already chilled.
- Sprinkle some brown sugar on top, before serving.
- Serve chilled.
