Ingredients:1/2 cup tender green gram
1 small onion finely chopped
1 small tomato finely chopped
1 tsp. coriander finely chopped
1 slice raw mango finely chopped (on availability)
or lemon juice as per taste
1 tbsp. fine sev (refer bhel)
1/2 cup mixed farsan or puffed rice (murmure)
1 tbsp. tamarind chutney (refer chutneys)
1/2 tsp. green all purpose chutney (refer chutneys)
salt to tasteMethod:
- Mix together gram, onion, tomato, mango (or lemon), salt.
- Add coriander (save some for garnish).
- Just before serving, add farsan (or murmure), half sev, chutneys.
- Mix well. Empty into individual bowls.
- Garnish with remaining coriander and sev.
- Serve immediately.
Making time: 10 minutes (excluding chutneys making time)
Makes: 3 servings approx.
