Mango Dishes
Keri Ka Salad (Raw Mango Salad)
Ingredients:

1 large raw tothapuri mango (or any variety which is sweet and sour)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oil
1/4 tsp. mustard seeds
2-3 pinches asafoetida

Method:

  1. Wash and chop mango into tiny pieces.
  2. Sprinkle salt and chilli powder.
  3. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Add sugar.
  5. Heat oil in a small crucible.
  6. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida, allow to splutter.
  7. Add to mango. Mix well.
  8. Serve after 20-30 minutes when flavours have blended well.

Making time: 15 minutes
Makes: 3-4 servings
Shelflife: 1 day refrigerated
