Ingredients:
2 litre milk
200 gms rice
200 gms soft jaggery
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
2 tbsp chopped almonds
2 tbsp chopped pistachios
6-7 strands of kesarMethod:
- Wash rice and let it dry
- Boil milk for 15 mins
- Add rice and let it cook till milk thickens and rice is cooked
- Add kesar, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder
- Add jaggery and mix well till jaggery melts
- Remove from fire
- Garnish with almonds and pistachios
