Sauces for Icecreams and Cakes
Sauces from colours and Flavourings
3/4 cup water
2 1/2 tsp cornflour
4-5 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp essence
juice of 1/2 lemon
few drops of colour to match the essence.

Method

Mix water, sugar and cornflour. Cook while stirring continuously. The syrup should coat the back of a spoon.

Cool a bit. Add colour, lemon juice & essence. Mix well.
Pour over desired scoops of icecreams before serving.
