Ingredients:1 cup sitaphal pulp
1 packet china grass
1 cup boiling water
500 gms. cream cheese
1 cup fresh cream or beaten malai
3/4 cup sugar ground or castor sugarMethod:
- Cut china grass into small pieces if in sheet form.
- Dissolve china grass in hot water till, over very low flame.
- Keep aside, stirring every now and then, till cool.
- In a large bowl, put cream cheese, china grass, sugar.
- Beat with an electric handblender till smooth and light.
- Fold in fresh cream and sitaphal pulp.
- Run two three short strokes again with blender.
- Pour into a pudding dish and set till firm.
- Serve well set and chilled.
Note: One may garnish the pudding with chopped walnuts, pistachios,etc. when almost but not completely set.
Making time: 20 minutes (except setting time)
Makes: 5-6 servings
Shelflife: 2 days refrigerated
