Ingredients:1 water
1 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp. CTC tea leaves
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ajwain or omum seeds
1 pinch cinnamon powderMethod:
- Heat water, add seeds, tea, cinnamon.
- Simmer for 1 minute.
- Add sugar, milk, stir.
- Allow to boil, and simmer till colour is as desired.
- Stand cover for 1 minutes, to brew.
- Strain and serve piping hot.
- Serve hot with biscuits, khakra (refer recipe index), etc.
Making time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 cups
