Thai Basic Recipes
Nam Pon (Health Drink)
Ingredients:
1 cup ripe chopped papaya, peach or other fruit
1 tbsp. sugar
6-8 crushed icecubes
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup chilled water
1/4 tsp. salt
a small end sprig of kaffir lime leaves or mint leaves

Method:

  1. Put fruit in an electric blender.
  2. Run till smooth.
  3. Add all other ingredient except leaves.
  4. Run till drink is frothy and light.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses, allow to froth over.
  6. Garnish rim with leaves, serve immediately.

Making time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 medium servings
Shelflife: Best fresh
