Festival Recipes Veppam Poo Vella Pachadi
Ingredients
Mango (raw)
Neem Flower (petals only) - 2 tea spoons
Mustard - 1/2 tea spoon
Green Chillies
Jaggery (Gur) - 1 cup(100 gm)
Salt to tasteMethod
- Put pan on fire;fry mustard in little oil until the mustard cracks
- Cut the mangoes into small pieces and cut the chillies also
- After the cracking of mustard put the pieces of mangoes, chillies and neem flowers into the pan
- Add one cup of water and allow to boil until the mango pieces get cooked
- After the mango is well cooked add jaggery and salt; allow to boil till it turns thick
- Remove from fire and serve
