Festival Recipes Vanilla Pudding
This recipe is for Easter.
Ingredients
Egg - 3
Thickened milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tea spoon
Salt - a pinchMethod
- Beat the contents of egg well with egg beater
- Mix thickened boiled milk, sugar, essence and pinch of salt
- Beat well again for 30 minutes/till it becomes fluffy
- Take the vessel for preparing the pudding and heat it with 2 tea spoons of sugar
- After the sugar turns brown remove it from fire, fill the vessel with the pudding mixture
- Steam cook the pudding for 15 minutes in the cooker
- Cool it and keep it in the refrigerator
- Cut it nicely and serve with jelly
- Bottom will be dark brown, middle will be cream in colour and put jelly on top
