Oil for shallow frying
2 tbsp plain flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup bread crumbsFor Burgers:
1/2 kg cooked smoked salmon
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 cup cornflakes, finely crushed
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
1 egg
2 potatoes, boiled, peeled and smashed
Salt as per tasteFor Dip:
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp cup cream cheese, softened
1 green chillies, chopped finely
1/8 tsp mustard sauce
Salt as per taste
1/8 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 onion, gratedMethod for Dip:
- Blend eggs, mayonnaise, onion, chillies in a blender
- Remove in a bowl
- Add mustard sauce, pepper powder and salt
- Add sour cream and cheese
- Mix it well
- Chill for an hour
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients of burgers except egg
- Separate egg and mix the egg yolk to the egg mixture
- Mix it well
- Make 6 patties of the mixture
- Make a paste of plain flour and water
- Add egg white to it and mix well
- Dip the patties in the paste
- Roll them in bread crumbs
- Shallow fry till golden brown
- Serve with Dip
