3 pita breads
2 onion slices
1 cucumber slicesFor Burgers:
1/2 kg crab meat
1/2 tbsp crushed mint leaves
1/2 cup grounded peanuts
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp cumin seeds powder
2 green chillies, chopped finely
1/2 small cauliflower florets , boiled, smashed
1 egg
Salt as per tasteFor Cucumber Sauce:
1 cup cucumber grated
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 green chillies, chopped finely
1 tbsp crushed mint leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp white pepper powder
2 tbsp chopped celery
1-1/2 cups plain yogurt (curd)
(Mix together all the ingredients and chill for 1/2 hour)Method:
- Mix all the ingredients of the burgers
- Make 6 patties of the mixture
- Grill the patties for 8-10 min, turning each side till brown
- Halve the pita breads
- Warm them
- Put one patties inside each pita bread pocket
- Pour some cucumber sauce over it
- Serve with onion and tomato slices and remaining cucumber sauce
