4 rounds breads
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
onion slices
1/2 dried oreganoFor Pizza Sauce:
1/2 cup tomato puree
3 garlic flakes
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp red chilli crushed
1/8 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp butter
Salt to tasteFor Burgers:
1/2 kg lean minced meat
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/2 onion, minced
1 tbsp tomato puree
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 cup boiled corn kernels
Salt as per tasteMethod for Sauce:
- Heat butter in pan
- Add tomato puree, bring to boil
- Pound together garlic, chilli powder, salt, cinnamon powder
- Add all ingredients except cornflour, simmer for 5 minutes
- Mix cornflour in 1/4 cup water to make smooth paste
- Add to the boiling sauce, stirring continuously to avoid lumps
- Stir and cook till thick enough to spread on pizza bread
- Cool, stirring occasionally, to avoid surface from drying up
- Use how much required, rest can be stored in freezer for further use
Method for Pizza Burgers:
- Brown meat in a skillet
- Add rest of the ingredients of the burgers
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- Remove and let it cool a bit
- Make 4 burgers of the mixture
- Butter the breads
- Place it on baking tray
- Spread pizza sauce over it
- Place 1 burger on each bread
- Garnish with mozzarella cheese
- Top with onion slices
- Bake of 15 mins untill cheese has melted
- You can top the pizza with mushroom, capsicum
- Serve with french fries
