Burgers and Rolls
Mushroom Burgers

Ingredients

4 buns
1 cup shredded carrots
8 slices of tomato
1/2 cup grated cheese
Oil for frying
1 tbsp butter

For Patties:
1 cup small mushrooms, chopped coarsely
1 onion, chopped finely
1 tsp garlic paste
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup boiled peas
1/4 cup chopped french beans, boiled
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg white
3 green chillies, chopped finely

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a pan
  2. Fry onion till transparent
  3. Simmer garlic paste for 2 minutes
  4. Add mushroom and saute for 12-15 minutes, till dry
  5. Drain and Keep aside
  6. Mix all the other ingredients of patties with mushroom
  7. Make 4 patties of the mixture
  8. Shallow fry till golden brown
  9. Warm the buns
  10. Slit into halves
  11. On 4 halves, put tomato slices, patties, shredded carrots and finally grated cheese
  12. Cover with the remaining halves
  13. Serve with ketchup
