Chinese Dishes
Chicken Manchurian

Ingredients

2 tbsp vegetable oil
400 gms shredded boneless chicken

Marinate chicken with

1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
Salt as per
1/4 tsp white pepper powder

For Sauce

1/4 cup clear honey
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp chopped celery

Method

  1. Heat oil in  a wok
  2. Stir-fry the chicken till tender
  3. Dissolve cornflour in chicken stock
  4. Add all the sauce ingredients
  5. Let it simmer till the sauce thickens
  6. Serve hot with rice
