Dips and Spreads
Chocolate Spread

Ingredients

2 cups margarine
2 eggs beaten
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup cashewnuts powder, coarse
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Mix eggs, cocoa powder, sugar in a pan
  2. Put the pan on a low flame
  3. Simmer the ingredients, till sugar melts, stirring continuously
  4. Remove from fire
  5. Add cashewnuts and vanilla essence
  6. Let it cool
  7. In a bowl mix cooled mixture and margarine
  8. Blend it well with egg beater for 5-6 mins.
  9. Refrigerate for 3 hours
  10. Spread on biscuits or toasts and serve
