Dips and Spreads
Hot Clam Dip

Ingredients

1 cup minced clams
1 onion, chopped finely
2 green chillies, chopped finely
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp cerely, chopped finely
1 cup cream cheese
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Method:

  1. Heat pan
  2. Put the clam mince and lemon
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring continuosly
  4. Add butter, onions and green chillies
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes
  6. Add pepper, oregano and cerely
  7. Remove from fire and put in a baking dish
  8. Garnish with the cream cheese
  9. Bake at 350 degree F for 30 minutes
  10. Serve with bread toast or chips
