Dips and Spreads
Mushroom Dip

Ingredients

2 cups mushroom, chopped coarsely
2 onions, chopped finely
3 garlic flakes, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cream cheese
1 tbsp cerely
3 tbsp butter

Method:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan
  2. Fry onion till golden brown
  3. Remove and drain on the paper
  4. Heat remaining 1 tbsp butter
  5. Simmer mushrooms for 10 minutes
  6. Add garlic and simmer for another 2-3 minutes
  7. Remove and mix with onion
  8. In a bowl blend sour cream and cream cheese well
  9. Add mushrooms and onion
  10. Add salt, pepper and cerely
  11. Mix well
  12. Refrigerate for 2 hours
  13. Serve with chips
