Egg Dishes
Egg Bhurjee

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 onion, chopped finely
1 small tomato, chopped finely
2 green chillies, chopped finely
1/4 tsp cumin seeds powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1 garlic flake, grounded
Salt as per taste
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp milk

Method:

  1. Break eggs in a bowl and beat well
  2. Add milk and mix well
  3. Heat oil in a pan
  4. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter
  5. Fry onion till golden brown
  6. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies
  7. Simmer for a minute
  8. Add tomatoes and let it simmer for 3 minutes
  9. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder
  10. Mix well and keep for a minute
  11. Add beaten egg and stir continuously
  12. Let it cook on slow flame, stirring continuously, till set
  13. Remove from flame
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves
