Egg Dishes
Egg Masala

Ingredients

6 eggs, hard boiled (shelled)
2 onions, chopped finely
2 tomatoes, chopped finely
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt as per taste
2 tbsp oil
1 cup water
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Make a paste of:
1" ginger
5 garlic flakes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander leaves powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
2 green chillies
1 tsp garam masala

Method:

  1. Prick the eggs with the fork and keep aside
  2. Heat a oil in pan
  3. Fry onion till golden brown
  4. Add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes
  5. Add the grounded paste and salt
  6. Simmer for 3-4 minutes
  7. Add water and eggs in the pan
  8. Bring to boil
  9. Let it cook for 10 minutes till gravy is thickens
  10. Add lemon juice and stir well
  11. Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves
  12. Serve hot
