Fish Dishes
Fish with Tomato-Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

1 kg any thornless Sea Fish, cut into medium pieces.
1 cup of Tomatoes Puree
1Tsp of chilli-garlic paste ( 6-8 Hot Green Chillies grinded with 6 Garlic Pods)
1 big Onions to be Finely Chopped.
1 teaspoon of Corriander powder.
1/2 Bunch of Parsley Leaves.
200 Ml of Oil for Frying.
1 Tbsp of Salt.

  Method:

  1. Clean the fish pieces and pat it dry.
  2. Marinate with 1 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tsp of salt.
  3. Heat oil in non stick kadai  and fry the pieces till golden brown.
  4. Keep it aside after taking it from oil.
  5. Add the chopped onions and fry till brown in colour
  6. Add the chilly paste and corriander powder, tomato puree in it adding the fried fish pieces in.
  7. Cover it  and cook it on slow flame till 10 minutes.
  8. Put the parsley leaves in it and mix it properly
  9. Simmer it for 10-15 minutes and serve.
  10. It can be served and enjoyed with plain rice.
