By LipikaHilsa Fish, cut it into round slices
25 gms of Mustard paste ( Mustard grinded with 1 tbsp of Curd and 6-7 Green Hot Chillies).
Banana leaves cut into rectangular shape not small size but medium size to cover each fish piece.
1Tablespoon of Salt.
2Tablespoon of Mustard Oil.
1 Thread box to tie the Banana leaves.Methods of Cooking:
- Wash the fish and pat it dry.
- Rub it into salt and turmeric powder (1tsp).
- Keep it for sometime at least 1/2hr covering the fish pieces.
- Now marinate it with mustard paste adding 2 tbsp of mustard oil in it.
- Keep it aside again for 1 hr.
- Take one rectangular piece of banana leaf and see that it can cover one marinated fish piece.
- Tie each of the piece with thread and keep doing the same way with other marinated fish pieces.
- Now preheat the oven for 150 Degree centigrade for 10 minutes.
- Take a baking tray and grease it with 1 tsp mustard oil and keep the tied fish pieces evenly on the tray and bake it for 35 to 40 Minutes.
- Take the thread out of banana leaves and serve the fish pieces which is already marinated and cooked properly .
- It can be served hot as side dish and can be enjoyed with rice.
