1/4 kg macaroni
Low fat cream
1 cup nonfat milk
Some tuna
Some sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 tablespoons freshly grated cheeseMethod:
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat cream.
- Gradually stir in nonfat milk and cook, stirring, until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
- Gently stir in tuna, water chestnuts and the cooked macaroni.
- Transfer to a casserole.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 5 minutes longer.
- Serve at once.
