2 fresh cracked crabs
For Marinade: 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon basil (tulsi)
1 pinch salt to taste
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauceMethod
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour over the fresh cracked crab.
- Let stand and marinate for 4 hours or more, agitate occasionally.
- Prepare the charcoal grill, or your broiler oven.
- Place the crab on your broiler, turning once after 12-15 minutes.
- Add a cup of water and 1/4 cup vinegar to the marinade that is left and use as a dip if you wish.
- You can also use this marinade and wine vinegar mixture as a salad dressing and put the cooked crab on greens and your favorite vegetables, and serve as a salad.
