Healthy Dishes
Stuffed Onion

Ingredients

6 sweet large onions
1/2 cup ground meat
1 cup chicken stock
1 tsp oil

Mix together:
1/4 cup chopped spring onion
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp chopped capsicum
1 tomato, chopped finely
1/8 tsp minced chilli paste
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/8 tsp pepper powder
Salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Scoop the onion, diced the scooped part
  2. Heat oil in a pan, fry onion till transparent
  3. Add meat and cook for 5-7 mins
  4. Cool it
  5. Add to it mixed ingredients
  6. Mix the mixture well
  7. Fill the mixture in the scooped onions
  8. In a non-stick pan, place the filled onions
  9. Pour over it the chicken stock
  10. Cover and cook for 45-50 mins.
  11. Serve warm
