Manglorean Dishes      By Mariena D'souza
I am Mariena D'souza, a 25 year old working as an Executive Assistant in an Japanese MNC. Cooking is one my hobbies apart from music. I love to cook and love to eat as well and so strongly believe in gastronomy. I would like to share with you some of the Manglorean recipes. Bon Appetite.....

When one relates to Manglorean Cuisine one would immediately think of the steaming hot fish curries in endless variety with raw mangoes, with coriander, with coconut milk and what not and all equally mouth-watering and delicious. Coconut forms the major base of all the Manglorean dishes irrespective of Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian as Mangalore is an coastal city. Almost all the ingredients are the same in all the recipes but the difference and variations are created by the quantity used. However, whether fish, meat or chicken, Manglorean Cuisine does not fail to tickle an gastronomic's taste buds.
