Mushroom Dishes
Mushroom Curry

Ingredients

250 gms button mushrooms
1 cup tomato puree
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 onions, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1/4 tsp garlic paste
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup thick curd (yoghurt)
1/2 tsp cummin seed powder
1/2 tsp corriander seeds powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp butter
Salt as per taste

Method

  1. Clean mushroom and keep aside
  2. Heat butter in a pan
  3. Add chopped onions and fry till transparent
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies
  5. Simmer for 2 minutes
  6. Add all the powders and garam masala and fry for a minute
  7. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes
  8. Add tomato puree, tomatoes, salt and stock
  9. Let it cook for 2 minutes
  10. Pour it into microwave bowl
  11. Microwave the mushroom gravy for 3 minutes
  12. Pour the curd and mix it well
  13. Serve with rice
