Omelette Recipes
Parsi Style Omelette

Ingredients

This recipe is for 2 omelettes

2 eggs
1/2 cup diced potatoes
1 tbsp finely chopped onion
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds powder
Oil for shallow frying

Method

  1. Par boil the potatoes
  2. Drain and shallow fry potatoes till golden brown
  3. Drain and keep aside
  4. Separate the yolks of egg
  5. Beat the whites till frothy
  6. Add yolk and continue beating
  7. Add remaining ingredients including potatoes
  8. Mix it well
  9. Heat the griddle
  10. Put some oil in it
  11. Pour half of egg mixture
  12. Cook till the omlette is golden brown on slow flame
  13. Turn the omlette
  14. Let the other side also get cooked untill golden brown
  15. Remove from fire and serve hot
  16. Repeat the same for remaining mixture
