Omelette Recipes
Tofu Omelette

This recipe is for 2 omelettes.

Ingredients

1 cup small cubed tofu
3eggs
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp garlic paste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp oil

For Peanut Sauce

1/2 cup peanut
2 tsp say sauce
2 tsbp fish sauce
2 tsp chilli sauce
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 tbsp vinegar
Salt as per taste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
Peanut oil for deep frying

Method for Peanut Sauce

  1. Deep fry the peanuts in smoked peanut oil till golden brown (approx 3-4 mins)
  2. Drain
  3. Grind the peanuts with 1 tbsp peanut oil
  4. Add all the ingredients, and blend till smooth
  5. Add more oil if sauce is thick

Method for Omelette

  1. Beat eggs with salt
  2. Fold in tofu and other ingredients except oil
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan
  4. Pour half of mixture
  5. Spread over the pan
  6. Cook it for 5 minutes
  7. Slide it into plate
  8. Repeat for remaining mixture
  9. Spread peanut sauce over the omelettes
  10. Serve hot
