Omelette Recipes
Fruit Omelette

This recipes makes two omelettes

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup thawed frozen fruits
2 tbsp icing sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2-3 drops vanilla essence
Method

  1. Separate the eggs
  2. Lightly beat the yolk and icing
  3. Whisk the whites till stiff
  4. Add vanilla essence and nutmeg
  5. Fold in the yolk
  6. Heat 1 tbsp butter
  7. Pour 1/2 of egg mixture
  8. When it sizzles, pour half of the mixture
  9. Use spatula to gently push cooked portions to the centre, tilting the pan to allow the uncooked egg to flow into empty spaces.
  10. Continue to do this until omelette is set but still moist
  11. Let it cook on slow flame till it is golden from top
  12. Spread half of fruits on half of omelette
  13. Let it cook for 1/2 a minutes
  14. Slide into plate
  15. Fold over the other half
  16. Repeat for other omelette
  17. Serve hot
