500 gms small meat pieces
2 onions, chopped finely
4 tbsp oil
1/4 cup chopped coriander
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
1 cup curdMake Paste of:
1/2" ginger
6-7 garlic pods
2 dried red chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3 cardamom
7 peppercorns
3 cloves
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp amchoor powder
1/2" cinnamon stick
Salt as per tasteMethod:
- Marinate mutton pieces with curd and ground paste
- Keep for 1 hour
- Heat oil in a saucepan
- Fry onion till brown
- Add the marinated mutton pieces
- Put some water and let it cook till tender (takes approx 1 hour); you can pressure cook it also
- Garnish with coriander leaves and sliced hard boiled eggs
- Serve with Phulkas
