1 large onion (grated)
chopped parsley
2 1/2 slices dry whole-wheat bread (soaked in water and squeezed dry)
cumin (or small amount of curry powder)
2 eggs
salt & pepper
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
2 medium tomatoes (or 1/4 cup tomato paste)Method
- Combine meat, grated onion, parsley, bread, eggs and spices.
- Shape into small balls and dust with flour.
- Brown in frying pan with melted butter.
- Add tomatoes (or tomato paste and 1 cup of water).
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 25 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
