2 lb. shoulders of lamb
2 tbl. butter
2 onions, chopped
1 14 oz. can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepperMethod
- Remove bone and cut lamb into 1-inch cubes.
- Cook in butter in heavy frying pan until browned.
- Add onions and brown, then add tomatoes, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Serve with pilaw.
