1/2 kg firm tofu, drained
4 small potatoes, boiled and peeled
2 sweet potatoes, boiled and peeled
1/4 cup boiled peas
1/2 cup grated carrots
1 cup sprouts
4 eggs, hardboiled and sliced
1 red onion, chopped finely
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oilMix Powder:
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
1/2 tsp curry powder (chaat masala)
Salt as per tasteMethod:
- Cut tofu into 1" squares, 1/2" thick
- Fry in oil over medium heat until golden brown
- Drain
- Chop potatoes and sweet potatoes (approx 1" pieces)
- Mix together tofu, potatoes, egg slices, sprouts peas and onion
- Toss it with mix powder
- Add mayonnaise
- Sprinkle celery leaves and lemon juice
- Finally garnish with grated carrots
- Serve after tossing it lightly
