1 cup chicken pieces
1 head iceberg lettuce
1/2 head red lettuce
6-7 anchovy fillets
1/2 cup caesar salad dressing
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tbsp olive oilFor Marinating:
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp curd
1/2 tsp green chilli pasteFor Garlic Croutons:
1/4 cup oil
4 cups of bread cubes (approx 1/2")
1 tbsp garlic clovesMethod for Croutons:
- Heat 1/4 cup oil
- Fry garlic cloves till brown
- Remove from oil
- Now fry bread cubes in that oil till golden brown
- Drain and keep aside
Method for Salad:
- Mix all the items of marination
- Apply to chicken pieces
- Marinate for 30 mins.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil
- Saute chicken pieces till cooked
- Remove and cool
- Tear pieces of lettuce
- Mix in a bowl
- Add anchovy fillets to it
- Blend well caser dressing, sour cream and cheese
- Pour 1/2 the dressing over salad
- Toss it well
- Sprinkle bread croutons
- Pour the remaining dressing
- Garnish with chicken pieces
