Salads
Jellied Salad

Ingredients

2 cups boiling fish stock
2 tbsp gelatin
2 cups boiled tuna
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
1/4 cup boiled peas
1 cup grated carrots
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp pepper powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup cream

Method:

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling stock
  2. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper
  3. Allow it to cool
  4. Mix together mayonnaise, cream, onion powder and celery
  5. Add tuna to it, and mix well
  6. In the cooled , add capsicum, peas and carrots
  7. Pour 1/4 of gelatin in the mold
  8. Put tuna mixture in the center of the spread gelatin
  9. Pour the remaining gelatin over it
  10. Chill untill firm
  11. Unmold the salad in the dish
  12. Garnish with desired chopped vegetables
