Meat Mould

Ingredients

3 cups cooked mutton pieces
1 cup peas
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup small cauliflower florets
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp gelatin
3 cups water
1 hard boiled eggs, chopped

For Garnishing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cucumber slices
1/2 cup chopped celery

Method:

  1. Boil peas, carrots and cauliflower in water
  2. Drain and keep the stock aside
  3. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup stock
  4. Bring 1-1/4 cup stock to boil
  5. Add gelatin mixed stock into it
  6. Remove fro fire
  7. Pout little gelatin in mold to cover the base
  8. Spread peas and cauliflower on the gelatin
  9. Mix together meat, carrots, salt, pepper and eggs
  10. Add remaining gelatin to it
  11. Pour the gelatin mixture over peas layer
  12. Set till the mold is firm
  13. Unmold before serving
  14. Garnish with mayonnaise, cucumber and celery
