Meat-Rice Buns

Ingredients

3 buns
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup cooked and diced meat
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
3 spring onion, chopped finely
1/4 tsp pepper powder
Salt as per taste
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
1 green chilli chopped finely
1/2 cup grated cheese
2 tbsp butter

Method:

  1. Heat the pan
  2. Melt the butter
  3. Add spring onion and simmer for 5 mins.
  4. Add all the ingredients (except buns and cheese)
  5. Add half of the cheese
  6. Cook for 5-7 mins
  7. Remove from fire and keep aside
  8. Halve the buns
  9. Scoop out the inside of buns (leaving 1" from side)
  10. Butter the buns
  11. Bake it for 5 mins in moderate oven
  12. Remove buns from oven
  13. Fill the buns meat-rice mixture
  14. Garnish with grated cheese
  15. Grill for 5 mins., till cheese is light brown
  16. Serve hot
