Cinnamon Apple Crunch

Ingredients

1 kg cooking apples, peeled and cut into thick slices
225g porridge oats
100g margarine
50g caster sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 150 oC.
  2. Arrange apples in an ovenproof dish then sprinkle then with sugar.
  3. Warm the margarine in a saucepan and when melted stir in the cinnamon and porridge oats.
  4. Spread the mixture over the apples and bake for 40-45 minutes.

Serves: 6
